The Journey Over the Rainbow Bridge
In a special corner of Heaven is a place called Rainbow
Bridge.
When our loving companion has put on a coat of invisibility and passes on, they
cross over into Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills to run and play and they are warm and content.
All who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again
They are happy and content but miss the ones they have left behind.
One day they suddenly stop and look into the distance.
Their eyes are bright with intent, ears are alert, their eager body quivers.
They break away from the group, flying over the green grass, legs carrying them
faster and faster.
YOU have been spotted and when you rejoin, you cling together in joyous reunion,
never to be parted again.
Their happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress their beloved
head and you look once more into their trusting eyes, so long gone from your
life but never absent from your heart.
Then you pass over Rainbow Bridge together into eternal life
